Idea star singer is the most famous reality show in Kerala. Now Idea star singer is considered as one of the most successful television event in the history of Kerala.

There have been a lot of singing contest reality shows for filtering out star singers. One of the primal and famous one was Mere Aswas sunoo, which was indented for whole India with Hindi songs for competition.

Idea Star Singer had completed 4 sessions in July 2010. And now its Idea Star Singer Session 5 .
